PROGRAMME
ESOL Into Employment
Improving English is the enabler. Increased independence, progression and employment are the outcomes.
Who This Programme Is For
ESOL Into Employment is designed for adults whose first language is not English and who face language and confidence barriers to finding sustainable work. Many participants already have real skills and experience – what they often lack is the opportunity to demonstrate them in English, in a UK workplace context.
Participants often face a combination of barriers at once: limited workplace English, low confidence engaging with employers, unfamiliarity with UK recruitment processes and limited digital skills for modern job searching. This programme addresses these together, rather than treating English tuition and employability support as separate journeys.
How The Programme Is Structured
A single programme that brings English tuition, digital skills and employability support together, built around each participant’s starting point.
