Join our First Aid for Parents and Child Carers course, a 3-hour in-person programme designed for parents, caregivers, and anyone looking to boost their confidence in handling infant and child emergencies. With a maximum of 12 participants per course, you’ll receive personalised instruction and accreditation from FAIB upon completion. Gain the essential skills needed to assess and respond effectively to incidents involving infants and children, ensuring their safety and your peace of mind.
  • Assessing Infant and Child Incidents: Learn how to effectively assess situations involving infants or children to determine the appropriate response.

  • Managing Unresponsive, Breathing-Impaired Infants and Children: Acquire the skills needed to handle unresponsive infants and children who are not breathing normally.

  • Providing First Aid to Unresponsive, Breathing Normally Infants and Children: Gain the knowledge and confidence to administer first aid to unresponsive infants and children who are breathing normally.

  • Dealing with Infant and Child Seizures: Understand how to recognize and respond to seizures in infants and children, ensuring their safety and well-being.

  • Recognising and Assisting Choking Infants and Children: Learn the proper techniques for recognising and providing assistance to infants and children who are choking, potentially saving lives.

  • Life-Saving Confidence: Gain the knowledge and skills to confidently respond to emergencies involving infants and children, empowering you to act decisively when it matters most.

  • Certification Credibility: Receive a recognised certification accredited by the FAIB upon successful course completion, enhancing your credentials and showcasing your ability to provide crucial first aid.
